Openet expands presence in Americas with senior industry hire

DUBLIN, Ireland – 25th April, 2018 – Openet, a global leader in the supply of digital BSS (business support systems) and customer engagement solutions, today announced the hire of Vicente Pava as RVP Sales Americas.
With over 25 years’ experience in telecoms and IT, including 7 years as Sales VP for Hewlett Packard Enterprise for communications, media and entertainment sectors in the Americas, Vicente brings a wealth of industry expertise to Openet.
Digital transformation is changing the telecoms industry. Service providers are selling a wide range of new services through digital channels and they need to be faster in developing and monetizing new business models. This is resulting in new opportunities for more agile vendors as service providers look to move away from outdated systems from legacy vendors.
Vicente will therefore drive Openet’s efforts in delivering a range of digital ready agile solutions ranging from microservices based charging and policy solutions for tier 1 operators to end to end Digital Business Platforms for second brands and MVNOs.
