Openet expands investment in Latin America to support regional growth

DUBLIN, Ireland – December 6, 2012 – Openet, a global leader of real-time transaction management software and services, today announced its expanded presence in Latin America by moving to a bigger office in Brazil to support the company’s growth in the region. This investment builds on Openet’s existing Sao Paulo office and reflects the maturing telecommunications market in South America. Considered home by almost 200 million people, Brazil is also one of the world’s most sought after tourist destinations. In the next few years, the country’s wireless traffic will increase exponentially as they host more than three million visitors for the FIFA World Cup in 2014, and millions more for the 2016 Olympic Games. Openet is working with service providers as they prepare their network infrastructure to meet these challenges.
