Openet’s continued growth across its global base of customers, partners and staff is driving the expansion across finance, services, support, product development and sales.
Ms. Eimer McGovern has been appointed Openet’s CFO. Ms. McGovern is a Chartered Accountant who has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Electric Paper Company (EP) and ThirdForce Plc. Ms. McGovern also spent 10 years in various roles with DCC plc, including as finance director of DCC's supply chain management division servicing the IT industry. In October 2009, Ms. McGovern was appointed to the Contracts Awards Committee of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland by the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. At Openet, Ms. McGovern will be responsible for the Company’s finance function and corporate governance, and will also oversee global operations, facilities and administration.

Additionally, Openet founder and CTO Mr. Joe Hogan is now heading Openet’s newly expanded Core Product Development division. This division is being expanded to allow increased innovation and development across all current and future markets. With the expansion, Mr. Hogan’s new title is CTO and GVP Core Product Engineering.
Openet’s Services division has also been expanded. Combining both Professional and Client services, this division will now be under the global leadership of Ms. Juliana Su, now Openet’s GVP Services. Mr. Jim Chadwick, formerly COO, is now Openet’s America RVP, Services.
Finally, Shane O’Flynn has been promoted to GVP Delivery Engineering & Support. In this role, Mr. O’Flynn will be overseeing the expanded Delivery Engineering and Support division, with product support, interface development, product testing and code factory all reporting to Mr. O’Flynn. He is also responsible for the development of applications and related development for Openet with all global support functions combined under his leadership.
