Openet Begins Rollout of Convergent Mediation Product for Videotron’s Cable Network

DUBLIN, Ireland – November 10, 2008 – Openet, a provider of Transactional Intelligence solutions for the world’s largest and most innovative service providers, today announces that Canadian cable provider Videotron has selected its Convergent Mediation product. The product, which runs on Openet’s FusionWorks FrameWork, was selected to replace a failing, competitive mediation product.
Designed to consolidate billing mediation to a single, enterprise-wide product, FusionWorks Convergent Mediation is a key component of accurate billing for Videotron’s current solutions and will set the stage to maximize future revenue streams. The product enables Videotron to reduce costs through consolidated billing mediation, while increasing revenue by ensuring service availability.
