Openet Announces Managed Services Division to Support Worldwide Customer Demand

Dublin, Ireland and Reston, VA, November 6th, 2006; Openet Telecom, the market leader in offline and online charging and rating solutions for communications providers, today announced its creation of a new division, Openet Managed Services Inc., to support growing customer demands for the direct management and outsourcing of customers operations. Operating as an extension to but separate division of Openet’s Professional Services function, Openet Managed Services Inc. will provide operators with outsourced day-to-day IT and network operations staffing. These outsourced resources will be used by operators to support both Openet products and solutions and other areas of customers’ businesses.

Openet’s managed services organization will be grown over the coming months, focusing primarily on personnel with network and systems engineering skills required for hands-on operator operations. Working on-site with clients, Openet managed services engineers will monitor the operational environment, manage software and hardware installs and updates, configure software as operator services are deployed and enhanced, and ensure that Openet’s FusionWorks™ products and solutions are being fully and most effectively utilized.
