11 June 2001; Openet Telecom, the world leader in convergent mediation, today announced that it has expanded its corporate marketing group with the appointment of Andrew Court as director of marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Court was formerly global Internet marketing manager for Lucent Technologies Software Products Group.
Court will be responsible for spearheading Openet's marketing drive into Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company currently operates offices in Ireland, UK, Germany, France, Sweden and the US, and recently announced a major global expansion under which it plans to add 200 new jobs by the end of 2002.
With over ten years experience in the technology sector, Court has considerable management and marketing experience with US and European technology multi-nationals including Lucent and Kenan Systems Corporation.
