Openet Launches Open API Driven Interaction Gateway to Open up Service Providers’ PCC Systems.

New approach to enable easier partnerships between service providers and content companies

 

DUBLIN, Ireland – April 25, 2012 – Openet, a leading provider of Service Optimization Software (SOS) to tier one communications service providers, has today announced the availability of their Interaction Gateway (IG) solution. This API enabled solution was developed to power Openet’s Subscriber Engagement Engine which provides real-time access to service providers’ back office systems to enable real-time purchases, controls and personalised offers direct on the handset.

IG contains a common API approach which means that service providers can open up their policy control and charging systems to partner to enable a wide range of new services. These could include working with content partners and giving them access to the operators back end policy and charging systems as well as direct and managed access to subscribers via the Subscriber Engagement Engine.
