Openet Launches Executive Technology Layer with Appointment of Four Vice Presidents

At the same time, Openet is forming the Openet Technology Division, which enables the Company to take a more unified approach to product creation and quality. The four appointed vice presidents of the newly developed VP of Technology layer include: •Niall Byrne, VP of Technology, Product Development – Byrne joined Openet in 2004, and most recently served as the director of engineering; his team now falls under the Technology Division umbrella. •Alan McNamee, VP of Technology, Chief Science Officer – McNamee was, along with Frank Dunne below, one of the first four architects hired by Founder/CTO Joe Hogan. He most recently served as the principal architect in the CTO office. •Marc Price, VP of Technology, CTO Americas – Price joined Openet in 2004, and most recently held the position of senior telecom strategist in the CTO office. •Frank Dunne, VP of Technology, Product and Solution Assurance – Dunne, has been with Openet since it’s founding, where he most recently served as the director of the core technology group for professional services.
