Openet Expands Global Reach with New Brazil Office

DUBLIN, Ireland – August 12, 2008 – Openet, a provider of Transactional Intelligence solutions for the world’s largest and most innovative service providers, today announces the opening of its Brazil office, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. While the Company has previously had a presence in the region, this marks a distinct expansion into the maturing telecommunications market in South America with its FusionWorks™ product suite.

With Openet’s FusionWorks product suite in place, Brazilian service providers can generate and rapidly deploy dynamic, subscriber- and session-aware policy and next generation billing capabilities. FusionWorks helps carriers gain comprehensive, enterprise visibility into service and network usage while delivering services customized to subscribers’ preferences. Ultimately, the FusionWorks product suite allows carriers to maximize return on network resources and provide new offerings to end users and additional revenue streams to operators, all on existing data.

The additional staff will provide professional services for Openet’s mediation, charging and revenue assurance solutions deployed throughout in the region.
