Openet and Samsung sign 5G partnership

BARCELONA, 25th February 2019 – Openet today announced that it has formed a partnership with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. to provide 5G core network solutions. Under this partnership, Samsung and Openet will cooperate to provide 5G network functions (NFs) in the packet core software solutions.
The joint solution will consist of Openet’s 5G platform, including real-time policy and charging controls, as well as Samsung’s packet core software products.
