Claro Puerto Rico is part of América Móvil which is the largest operator in Latin America. With nearly 2 million subscribers, this customer chose Openet Policy Manager and Subscription Manager to enhance their subscriber’s experiences and to drive additional revenues.

SOLUTION

Openet supplied its Real-Time Offer Manager Solution to enable Claro Puerto Rico to:

  • Develop data service passes and roaming data service offers per zone
  • Launch proven revenue generating shared data plans
  • Deliver fast deployment of new marketing offers using Openet’s rules based, modular architecture
  • Create multiple policy-based use cases such as white-listing and zero rating
  • Improve uptake rates for offers and promotions through real-time provisioning directly from subscriber’s handset
  • Deliver additional control to subscribers through self-care

RESULTS

Enabling targeted offers to be presented in real-time directly to the subscriber’s handset and also provisioned in real-time, significantly enhanced the experience for Claro Puerto Rico’s subscribers. Using Openet’s Real-Time Offer Manager solution, Claro Puerto Rico was able to reduce time to market for the creation of innovative data offers to meet the needs of their subscribers resulting in a reduction in churn and an increase in revenues.
