We made MWC Amazing!
March 2, 2022 - Frank Healy
Mobile World Congress 2022 is coming into Day 3 as we take a look at what's been covered so far.
More than anything, it was great to be back at Mobile World Congress!
Some of the industry themes that were crystallising, as we had expected, are:
· Cloud partnerships matter more and more:
Cloud-driven scale, automation and flexibility benefits are here to stay. Check out our pre-event press release on the work we’re doing with AWS here.
· Multi-party partnerships for enterprise verticals and entertainment will drive revenue in 2022:
One of the highlights for us was Rima Qureshi (CSO of Verizon)’s clear thinking on experience monetization and details of Verizon’s evolving partnerships with the likes of Disney and Hulu+.
· Time-to-market via smart use of APIs and 5G Exposure to provide competitive advantage:
Exposure and open APIs continue to drive new services from robot hospitality staff to remote underwater drones. Exposure will (via 5G NEF) be key to delivering new services and serving new verticals. See more on Amdocs NEF and MWC commentary here.
· The above only hold value if customers are at the centre of everything:
Of course, a highlight for us at MWC this year is Customer Engagement – which provides more powerful than ever liberation of your agents who have everything they need in one place. Low code and pre-integrated to Amdocs Commerce and Care Suites.
Were you at MWC? Did you visit our stand? Hope you had enjoyed some of our incredible use cases and industry-leading initiatives in action.
