ROLE SUMMARY
Project Manager – Telecom Mediation Solutions. Responsible for the entire telecom mediation solutions development cycle, from customer requirements to delivery of professional services projects. Solutions typically implemented in a combination of DSD (Proprietary), a tcl type scripting language, C, and PL/SQL. Manage multiple projects concurrently and to exemplary standards, and play leading role in new business initiatives.
This role requires up to 75% travel within North America.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing and planning projects, and driving those plans through to a successful conclusion
Interviewing and resourcing project teams
Managing, tracking and reporting effort, cost, and progress
Interfacing with Product Group regarding product releases
Interfacing with Sales for new project requirements and commercial issues
interfacing with customers on requirements definition and all aspects of project delivery
Communicating effectively with customer representatives and colleagues
Representing company at customer meetings, presentations and conferences

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
Minimum of five years of experience as software engineer, software developer or systems engineer (three years of experience with a Master’s degree).

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
Must be progressive and must have included minimum of three years where duties included the following: telecom billing or mediation software solutions project management; applications development in UNIX environment, in a scripting language such as shell or tcl, in C or C++, and in PL/SQL or other relational database language. Must have experience mentoring junior developers.
